What your child will learn

Violin

Violin is my main instrument. From holding the bow for the first time to playing real pieces with a lovely sound, we build it up step by step.

  • Holding the violin and bow comfortably
  • Playing in tune with a clear sound
  • Reading music
  • Pieces they will love to play

Piano

A wonderful first instrument, and a great partner to violin. Children learn technique, reading and pieces chosen to suit them.

  • Good hand position
  • Reading both hands
  • Music theory basics

Try the violin

A tiny lesson your child can try at home: tap the glowing spots on the violin to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, one note at a time.

More challenging pieces, stronger technique and music theory, and preparation for higher grades and GCSE Music.

How to start

  1. 1

    Get in touch

Tell me your child's age, which instrument they would like to learn, and whether they have played before.

  2. 2

    First lesson

Your child tries the instrument, we play a little together, and you can stay and watch. It is a relaxed way to see if we are a good fit.

  3. 3

    Weekly lessons

Regular lessons with a clear plan, plus short practice notes so you know how to help at home.

About me

I studied violin at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where I earned a bachelor's degree in music performance. I love teaching children: the moment a piece starts to make sense, and the confidence that comes with it.
